Molly and I have been most confused with the weather this summer.  One moment it is so hot we have to be in doors and the next moment the fire is lit for us to keep warm.  However I guess I can’t complain as being a dog at Chalfield is pretty spoiling.  When  it was so very hot I could lie on the window cill with a cool breeze and watch the world go by while Molly snored on the sofa.

I guess being a black Labrador you feel the heat more as Patsy had to take Molly to the dog doctor as she was so depressed with being so hot.  Thankfully all was well and a few cool swims in the spring sorted her out.

Lots of visitors came to see me over the Jubilee and both Linda and Simon were as cheerful as they could be despite the pouring rain.  Linda wore these very strange glasses but I guess they were red white and blue.

I rather wish HM The Queen would visit me, I know I am not a corgi but she would certainly enjoy my company and I would love to take her around our garden.

Now it is freezing cold and oh so wet so we are back in doors in front of what ever fire gets lit.  I do try and entertain all our visitors but sometimes it has just been too cold to sit out side.
